Bill's Sewing Machine Company

Bill's Sewing Machine Co.

Bill's Sewing Machine Co.

Originally known as Bill's Repair Shop, Bill's Sewing Machine Company was founded in 1963 by Mr. Bill Cook as a small appliance and domestic sewing machine repair service.

From these humble beginnings, Bill's Sewing Machine Company has moved to the forefront of the sewing industry, which staffs twenty-one full-time employees providing assistance with inside and outside sales of industrial cutting and sewing equipment, parts, accessories, four road technicians, four in-house technicians and a complete machine shop. Remaining true to our roots, Bill's still maintains the sale, service and parts for domestic sewing equipment, featuring such brands as Janome and Brother.

2020 will mark the 57th year that Bill's Sewing Machine Company has been in business and serving the community and industry, and we have so much to be thankful for ... At least eight of our employees, have been with the company over 32 years each, and while every employee at Bill's Sewing Machine Company is treated like family, we are proud and blessed to employ several actual family members.

In September 1992, Bill's Sewing Machine Company purchased the company, APEX, which manufactured specialty sewing machines for the furniture industry. Since that time, we feel we have not only maintained that superior quality, but been able to improve upon it.

Our newest addition to the Bill's group is the extension of sewing machine heads to meet specific sewing needs, which require a larger sewing area, such as canvas, automotive, mattress repair, furniture, etc.

In the past five years, drapery workrooms have become another growing avenue to challenge our expertise. This being one of the few industries to remain here in the states, Bill's has risen to the challenge by providing the same reliable equipment and service to this growing enterprise; as we have other industries.

Versatility is one of the reasons Bill's has progressed in the sewing industry. Therefore, it is our goal to reach out and meet the sewing needs of other industries, including mattress, automotive, orthopedic, canvas, military requirements and any other area where quality sewing equipment is required.
