CARD CHARGES

All purchases in the home and industrial departments must be a minimum of $20.00 in order to use a credit or debit card. 

HOME DEPARTMENT RETURNS

For the return of non-machine purchases in the home department, the buyer must have a copy of the original receipt to receive a monetary refund. The return of used or damaged items is NOT accepted.

In the event of a return wherein the buyer does not have a copy of their receipt, a store credit may be issued.

The return of cut fabric is NOT accepted. 

The return of opened thread is NOT accepted.

All returns will incur a 10% restocking fee.

Special ordered items CANNOT be returned for credit.

INDUSTRIAL DEPARTMENT PURCHASES

All merchandise will remain the property of Bill’s Repair Shop Inc., dba Bill’s Sewing Machine Company, until payment is received in full. 

Prices on subsequent orders are subject to change without notice due to availability, supplier price increases, and non-stock items.

INDUSTRIAL DEPARTMENT RETURNS

For the return of non-machine purchases in the industrial department, the buyer must request an RA (“Return Authorization”) number from Brigham Sapp. 

All freight charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer. 

Special ordered items CANNOT be returned for credit.

NO credit will be issued for items over 90 days from the invoice date.

MACHINE PURCHASES

ALL MACHINE SALES ARE FINAL.

No monetary refunds will be granted for the purchase of any new home or industrial machine.

Upon receipt and acceptance of a new home or industrial machine, the buyer acknowledges the terms of purchase here described.

 

INDUSTRIAL MACHINE WARRANTIES:

90-days labor on defects in materials and workmanship on sewing machine heads. 

(DOES NOT INCLUDE: PLATES, FEEDS, KNIVES and NORMAL WEAR ITEMS)

12-month warranty on electronic components, which include motors, control boxes, and operator panels.

N.S.F.
(NON-SUFFICIENT FUNDS) CHECK

Any check returned to us due to insufficient funds will incur a $25.00 service charge per N.S.F check. All future orders will be held until we have received a certified check or money-order for the amount of the check, plus the $25.00 service charge.

QUOTES

All quotes expire after 15 days. While prices may remain the same upon requote, Bill’s Repair Shop Inc. cannot guarantee a quoted price after 15 days have elapsed.

SERVICE/REPAIR WARRANTY

The following terms apply to the service and/or repair of all home and industrial equipment unless otherwise stated in writing and signed by the owners of Bill’s Repair Shop Inc.: NOTIFICATION OF ANY PROBLEM(S) MUST BE MADE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIPT.

Notification of any problem(s) after the initial 30 days will be acknowledged and advised as a new service/repair ticket.

TAX EXEMPTION

To comply with sales tax laws, it is required that we have an E-595E Certificate of Exemption for all NC manufacturers in connection with purchases of machinery, parts, and accessories which qualify for tax exemption. This same form is also required for all NC Retailers who will be reselling our products. Without this form on file, we are required to charge the current tax amount established by the state of North Carolina. 

For customers outside the state of North Carolina, you may be automatically tax exempt. To ensure your company is not charged erroneously, we highly recommend submitting a copy of your state-specific tax exemption certificate before making a purchase. 

UNREPAIRABLE DIAGNOSTIC

If the customer checks in a home machine for service/repair, the customer acknowledges that in the event that the mechanic(s) deem(s) the machine unrepairable, the diagnostic service will incur a $50.00 charge. This fee accounts for the labor time and equipment necessary to diagnose the machine as unrepairable.

USED EQUIPMENT WARRANTY

Unless otherwise stated in writing and signed by the owners of Bill’s Repair Shop Inc., all used equipment will carry a limited 30-day warranty, except in the event of abuse to the equipment. This warranty does NOT include transportation costs to or from Bill’s Repair Shop Inc., and the purchaser will be responsible for these costs in the event of needed repair or delivery.

No used equipment will be accepted as a return for credit after 30 days have elapsed from the purchase date. 

Receipt and acceptance of used equipment will constitute agreement with these guidelines.
